I seriously don't know where to start....

....this past week has been amazing!!! My super sweet and creative husband surprised me with overnight trip to Cincy. We headed there on Wed. morn and went to Ikea (the store that could potentially make me broke if I lived any closer) and then to Great Wolf Lodge for the night. We played in the waterpark for hours and had a blast. Alison really enjoyed it all.
They even have toddler waterslides. They were great b/c she could get to them on her own and I could stand in the water to catch her. Really fun!
We did the Cincy zoo on Thurs and then came home for the most yummy cupcakes EVER...Cold Stone Creamery Cake Batter Deluxe....sooooo good! Happy 30th (sigh) to me!!!!!!
Clearly we wore her out as she rubs her eyes for the family photo.

Oh yeah, two peas in a pod.
The best way to see the animals...compliments of Daddy!
Look at those active polar bears behind us...
Who is liking these cupcakes better....Daddy or Ali (with her mouth completely full)???

Friday was a rather quiet day but we did get to surprise our friend Andrea for her 30th...way to go Bob by pulling it off :) Saturday we had a cookout with fellow race goers and family and Chris surprised me again with chocolate cake!! He is sooo sneaky! Sunday was up bright and early to the race. We had a great day with friends, the weather was gorgeous, and even though my racer didn't win.....the race was really fun too!
Thank you Chris for the most amazing birthday ever. You really spoiled me and made it memorable. I really appreciate the heart you put into your plans....I had a blast!!!!! Thank you to both my parents and Chris' parents for coming to watch Alison. I'm sure she had a great day with the grandparents and Chris and I really enjoyed our time with friends and each other!!

Mother's Day 2009

We had a wonderful day with our family. We had a cookout with yummy bacon cheeseburgers and we all enjoyed the gorgeous weather outside. Alison and Chris really pampered this Mommy this year.....a gift certificate from Merry Maids (so I don't have to clean) and a day at the spa (so I can just relax)!!! Can a girl get anymore spoiled than that???? Thank you!!!

My sweet girl and I after church....oh Alison, I love being your Mommy soo much! You are so amazing and I am a better person because of you.

Alison and her wonderful Grandma's....my mom, my grandma, and Chris' mom! What an awesome example you ALL set for being a mother. We are so blessed to have you in our lives.

My mom...one of my best friends!

This is where Ali conked out at 5:45 last night after she refused to take a nap 3 hours prior! As frustrated as I was with her while trying to lay her down...this is just one of many heart-melting moments she gives me on a daily basis.....

Welcome the Month of May

We started off the Month of May with a cookout with friends. This is Lindsay and her new baby Lydia....as many of you know Alison was just SO excited to meet her and LOVES to hold and hug on her. She even got to "babysit" Lydia while Lindsay threw something away, such a big girl :) Can you see the excitement in Alison's face, so precious and I think Lydia looks mighty pleased too in this picture :)
Two beautiful girls!
After our cookout, Chris, Alison, and I went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to celebrate the kickoff to the month of May with a hot air balloon glow and fireworks. It was really neat and pretty.

Watching the fireworks atop Daddy's shoulders, somebody was pretty tuckered out at this time!
