An overnighter in Brown County State Park

We hope that everybody else enjoyed the gorgeous weather this past weekend. We headed to Brown County State Park on Saturday morning. We went on a hike, which Alison did great on. She got to see a chipmunk and touch a turtle shell. We went into Nashville and did some sight-seeing and ate dinner. We stayed in a cabin. Not the best night of sleep the Bishop's have ever had, but we still really enjoyed it. Alison didn't think sleeping in the pack-n-play was all that great. She ended up in bed with Mom and Dad, which means somebody was comfortably sprawled out in the middle of the DOUBLE bed while two others were hanging on for dear life on the edges :)
We got up Sunday and ate a good down home cookin' breakfast and then headed to Edinburgh to do some shopping. Miss Alison got some great fall/winter clothes. We then came home and we got to clean out our garage because our new Tuff Shed was built on Saturday while we were gone. It is sooo nice. Lots of great storage.
Well, here are some pictures from us swinging in the park on Saturday. Enjoy!

Milestones

Sorry we haven't posted in awhile. I guess we've been busy, but I'm not quite sure doing what, ha! We had a decent Labor Day weekend. I had to work Friday night, Sunday night, and Monday night. We did go purchase a baby gate for the stairs. Someone we know isn't full-fledged crawling yet, but we are an awesome army crawler. We also have 2 bottom teeth now. It's amazing how fast she is changing.
We had our annual End of Summer Gathering last night. We enjoyed visiting with friends and both sets of Grandparents came to help out with prep work and Alison duty :)
Here is a current photo of our little bug. If you notice how cute her dress is....it is from my friend's home based company: Trendy Sisters and a touch of Him.....awesome stuff, check it out: http://www.trendysisters.com/.

She wasn't really in the picture taking mood, so I like to think she is soooo excited that is shrieking with joy, but in all honesty, she is getting ready to belt out a cry :)

Onward Mighty Cardinals.....

Yes folks, Ball State Football is upon us. We started the season on Tuesday with the Grand Opening of our stadium. They did major renovations this past year. It just looks amazing. I'm pretty sure Papa Tom is looking in to the Presidential Suite for our tickets next year, Ha!! It sure was nice though. We enjoyed food and the ribbon cutting ceremony. Here is Dad and Chris on the field with the new press box in the background. Then we headed back on Thursday for the home season opener. It was a beautfiul night and as you can see, we had the cutest cheerleader stop by our tailgate. Thanks to our friend Natalie for loaning us this outfit. It is adorable and we just love our little Cardinal. She did great. Such a little social butterfly. Unfortunately our Cardinals lost by one point, but we had a great time.

A VERY busy day

Yesterday we started our day with a visit to the State Fair. Meme and Papa Wagoner and Gr. Fifi and Gr. Bobby joined us. We had a great time. We got to see lots of animals and eat good fair food. Ali was a trooper the entire time. She even got to pet a baby chicken. FYI, this year's fair food is the cajun corn fritter and they are VERY good!!!! Here we are being the Pinch family. After the fair, it was home and to the pool once the intense daytime heat settled down. Ali just loves the water and loves being at the pool. We are thinking about finding some kind of water class this winter for babies and parents. We think she'd love it. Here's a goofy dad and an adorable little girl.
Will you catch me dada?????
After a day at the fair and at the pool we were definitely in need of a bath. Here we are about to go in the tub. Chris couldn't resist the picture of this adorable little booty!!! It's suds time!!!!!!!
