Easter Week 2009

Oh what a wonderful Easter Week we had, full of fun activities. We started out our fun with an Easter Egg hunt last Sat. at a local park. Yes, this is where we got our enfamous 1 1/2 (non matching) Easter Eggs. Thank heavens she didn't care!! Here we are in full hunt mode! HA
At least we did get our 1st tattoo....a pig. It was really cute!
Easter egg painting at the house. Meme and Papa were here to help with this. I think painting her and Papa's hands was just as fun as the eggs!
Easter weekend Saturday we had the annual Wagoner Easter Egg hunt at my parents with brunch to follow. Here are all the kids. They had lots of fun hiding and looking.
Here are two cool chics, doing what every little girl loves....lookin' good and swinging high!
Playing in the tree, she looks sooo grown-up in this photo. Where has my baby gone?
Easter Sunday best, headed to church and brunch with all the family.

Alison's new toy

Well after talking about it all last spring, summer, and fall we finally got around to getting Alison a swingset. She loves, loves going to parks and playing and just knew this would be quite the investment for us. We were 100% accurate. She has really enjoyed it so far, even though today was spent looking at it from the window..thanks rain!
We had it delivered and installed on Friday while she was at school so it was great to see her bust outta the house to go get a better look. So this spring/summer/fall if you can't get ahold of the Bishop's, we are probably outside pushing somebody on the swing (by far her favorite part).

Just had to do it

Okay I know the last post had pics of Alison's dance class but this week was Princess day and I just couldn't resist showing you all our little Princess. Seriously the girl melts my heart with her absolute sweetness. Silly enough, it was a proud Mommy day to see her being so sweet and proud and doing big girl things. I know, enough sap right?!
This is the sleepy dance....all the girls love it!

Going on a Princess parade through the Y
My sweet, sweet Princess
Getting crowned by Miss Kelley, please note the red carpet she then proceeded to walk down

All smiles, I love you Alison!

Bad Blogger Alert!!

I know, I know....it has been WAY to long but I just haven't been making the time to update lately, sorry!
Anyways, we have had a good month. Busy with dance class, going to the Y on Fridays for swimming as a family, working, and making a trip to Wabash. We are looking forward to the Easter Bunny visiting our house and we have a special treat coming to our house on Friday, but I'll post about that then.
Here are some dance class pics. Alison has seemed to enjoy it a lot, not quite as much as gymnastics but still fun.
This was butterfly week. Each week is themed and the teacher has some prop for them. Miss Kelley is amazing with the girls. Poor Al thought we were going to be able to take them home :(
Our little flutterbug :)
Here's the best shot of her in her tutu from Valentine's Day. We got LOTS of compliments on it that day.
Ta-ta for now, I promise it won't be another month :)

Lindsay's shower

On Saturday Carla and I hosted a baby shower for our good friend Lindsay and her upcoming new arrival baby Lydia. It was a really good time and it sure looked like Lindsay, Travis, and Lydia got a lot of nice things. Alison is rather obsessed with baby Lydia in Lindsay's belly and cannot wait until she can hold her. She loves her Lindsay too!!!! Sayin' cheese for the camera
Our friend Andrea is also pregnant and due in just about a month. Don't these two look so cute?! I'm sure they don't feel cute, but I think pregnant bellies are just the best!!!
Cara and Alison giving hugs! They are 6 months apart and really cute together.
Me, Lindsay, and Carla.....my best friends!
This pic was just too cute not to post. This is Sandy's little girl Abby. That bow isn't big enough to describe what a gift you are to your mommy! She is sooo cute!
Thanks Carla for hosting with me and Lindsay...I'm so happy for you and Travis. You are going to make wonderful parents. Lydia will be SO loved. I cannot wait to meet her and raise our girls together:)
