VROOM VROOM

Daddy busted out his childhood racetrack last night. Alison had never played with it before. She and Chris had sooo much fun! She did a pretty good job too. She's already asked me today if we can play it.

Learning the ins/outs of the counter...which she understood well. While Chris and I were racing she says, "Someone has a 2 and a 0"....aka 20!!
She's got her gun and she's ready to race! Her favorite part was, "Listen Mom, I'm warming up my tires"!

Easter eggs

We had a great afternoon yesterday with the Grandparents....Easter eggs, dinner, visiting, and ice cream. Thank you all for coming and spending the day with us. As Alison told me at bedtime, you all were her favorite part of the weekend :)

Gr. and Gr. Bishop and Daddy helping Alison with her 2nd batch of eggs. They are all so intent aren't they?

Alison and Meme coloring away. I love the little grin on her face, she just couldn't break away from coloring to look at the camera :)

Ali and Mommy with Meme and Papa on our 1st batch of eggs. What fun we had :)

Alison and her grandparents...she loves you all soooo much!

Winter Park, CO

Chris and I were fortunate enough to sneak away this past weekend for a little getaway ski vacation. We skiied for 2 days in Winter Park, Co., and it was amazing! Much harder skiing than in Breckenridge from about 4 years ago. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you to everyone, mainly my parents, who helped out with Alison. I know she had a great time while we were gone. She even took a 2 1/2 hour nap yesterday and that was me forcing her to get up...she was exhausted!
Our beautiful surroundings
Whew, I made it :) We loved all the tree skiing!

The peak, 12,000+ feet!

Our resort and you can see some of the trails on the Left.

On our way to the resort we stopped at the Red Rocks...gorgeous area. They made an amphitheater out of the Red Rocks...can you tell the difference in the amount of snowfall...Denver had hardly any when we arrived and Winter Park got about 12 inches while we were there. Many of the locals said this was the best snow they have had all season, lucky us :)

SNOW much fun!

The Bishop's LOVE the snow...we are having a great time in all this weather! We have a great church down the road that has several hills. As you can tell by the pics, we stay until nearly dark! Settin' up, ready to go!

Little snow bunnies

My loves :)

Clearly Ali has the better deal here....yes, I'm struggling...it was a steep hill!
