WDW Day 3

We were up and to the Magic Kingdom. What an amazing day we had. Alison enjoyed all the rides and we met every character that we could. I know it is very cliche to say but the Magic Kingdom definitely has something "magical" about it. We stayed all day and ended the night with the SpetroMagic parade. Very pretty!
Here we are starting our day. Yes, Alison was being a complete pill and closing her eyes ;)
My little princess with a shot of the castle! I thought the flowers turned out beautiful!! The best family photo we can get with 4 kids under 7, a balloon the size of our heads, and a sword :) This is the first time that we have ALL been together. Pretty special for Gr. Bobby and Gr. Fifi.

Meme and Papa with Alison while we were waiting for the SpectroMagic parade.

A little Mama/Ali lovin'! Watching her enjoyment through the day was so fulfilling!

WDW Day 2 Part 2

Yay! my Alaskan cousins have arrived...so excited to see them. This is Poppy and her and Alison are just 6 weeks apart.Ali couldn't resist the face painting, I was shocked. She is a Rainbow princess. She loved it!!!! We then all headed to Chef Mickey for dinner. It is a really loud, boisterous place but really fun! The atmosphere is great, especially for the kids....even Papa Tom was having fun :)

One of the few pics we have of all the kids...as you can tell London and Poppy couldn't resist the face painting either. L-R London, age 5, Indigo, age 7, Minnie Mouse, Poppy, age 3, and Alison, age 3.

Walt Disney World Vacation April 2010 Day 1-2 Part 1

We arrived to Pop Century Resort last Saturday around 6pm. We immediately hit the pool, ate a late dinner, took a bath, and hit the sack. So onto Day 2.....
we went to Animal Kingdom. Neither Chris or I had ever been there. Lots of fun...good rides and fun animals. We were patiently awaiting the arrival of our Alaskan cousins. They arrived LATE on Sat. night so they did a little sleeping in before coming to Animal Kingdom. Our 1st ride was Triceratop spin. It was a hit with the young and old :)

While on Triceratop we spotted Pluto and Goofy so we had to hop in line to see them. Here Alison is giving Pluto a kiss goodbye, I think he was her favorite character.

Can't pass up a photo op in front of the tree of life. We then headed to Tusker House for Donald's Safari Breakfast and who better to greet us to breakfast than....Donald himself!

A little visit from Mickey Mouse.
We still weren't quite for sure about Goofy so we opted to have Daddy in this photo with us...he is one big character! Mommy's favorite as a kid.

and last but not least was Daisy. We loved her eyelashes! She definitely wasn't afraid of the characters and enjoyed visiting with them.

Stay tuned for the rest of Day 2...

Easter Sunday

We were in Wabash for Easter Sunday this year. We enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt with the cousins on Saturday, we got a little wet, but still had fun. Sunday was up early for 8am Mass. Here's my parents, my brother and his family, and Chris, Alison, and I. It was so nice for the whole family to go to church together....an Easter blessing I'd say :) We then went to our local Performing Arts Center where Gr. Bobby and Gr. Fifi had their church services and we also had brunch. The best brunch EVER!!!! Yummy fresh from the griddle waffles!!!
Our little family, Easter 2010. I don't know if you can see it but our dress has Minnie Mouse on it...we are getting just a little excited for Walt Disney World!!!!

We can home Sunday afternoon and the Easter Bunny had been to our house....yippee! He brought Alison all kinds of fun surprises including her big girl bike...yes, she picked it out, blue of course!!! Alison couldn't believe he hopped all the way upstairs to deliver her goodies, what innocence.

We hope all of you had a great Easter too. It is one to remember for us!
