Alison turns 7

A certain little sweet girl is super special and gets to celebrate her birthday not just once..or twice...but three times.....we started the celebration with her friends. She had a ballet birthday party at the dance studio that she attends...it was awesome. Mom and Dad got to show up and enjoy the moment and take pictures, doesn't get better than that!!!!

We then had Alison's family birthday party the weekend before her birthday and she chose a Lego theme. I was rather disappointed with my cake but oh well...I'm not Cake Boss :)

Someone got all dolled up for the party

Then it was finally her big day...December 18th....the big 7

We had a great evening celebrating her...she chose sushi for dinner and our fellow sushi-loving Uncle Bo and Aunt Courtney met us for dinner!!! I cannot believe how fast time is going...Alison you are growing up so fast. You are funny, energetic, loving, smart, kind, and full of spunk! I wouldn't have you any other way, we are so blessed!

December fun

We had a very fun, busy, exciting, and memorable December this year. As always, it goes WAY to fast for my liking.
We started out the month with Breakfast with Santa at Alison's school. It is a great event sponsored by the PTO. Alison got to put in her request for the American Girl spa chair.

Someone LOVES bathtime...playing in the water could keep her busy for quite awhile and we graduated out of our infant bathseat...big girl!

Our neighbors hosted a wonderful Brunch with Santa and Alison and Ada had a great time. The food and fellowship were wonderful. Alison once again got to put in her request and Santa even brought early Christmas gifts for all the good boys and girls...thankfully Alison and Ada were on that list! :)

We enjoyed holiday baking as a family on multiple occasions!

And again, she's into everything!!! She can tear apart the pantry in minutes..please disregard that it looks like a bomb went off without her help, HA!!

10 months old

We have realized we can crawl into and out of our tent, open and close the door, and the doorbell plays music! What fun!!!

Snowman #1 of the year!

Cheesy girl in her winter hat!

End of October

We opted to paint our pumpkins this year, Chris had just come off a two week illness stent, Alison was coming off a very busy 2 week Fall Break, and Mommy--well, she was luckily to have survived it all! HA!!!

Trick or Treating got moved to Friday night due to terrible wind/rain on Halloween night. I'm very thankful b/c Friday was a great evening to be outside and the kids could really enjoy the evening.

Ada was our 'little red devil' this year

Alison wanted to be an astronaut so we got all DIY and made her jet-pack out of 2 liter bottles and we paper-mached her helmet...turned out pretty adorable in my opinion

We trick or treated with the cutest Doc McStuffins and Captain Jack Sparrow I've ever seen!!!

Ready for take-off

Mid-October

Alison enjoyed two full weeks off for Fall Break this year due to our new balanced calendar and we LOVED it!!! We enjoyed time as a family, enjoyed time with friends, and she got to go have one on one time with each set of grandparents....heaven's knows she wasn't spoiled there AT ALL...HA!!!
We visited Tuttle's Orchards with friends...I had never been to an apple orchard that I could remember, so fun!!! and great picture opportunities. This one also has a relatively small pumpkin patch but perfect for us.

Such a little poser

Love her!!!

and the toothless wonder still eats an apple!

Me and my girls!

I think she was a little tired when we were done....ha!!!!

Ada found a new toy under her crib....electrical cords are fine for babies, right?! Little stinker!! and she goes for them each and every time she's on the floor in her room...rotten!

She's got the army crawl down-pat! and empty water bottles...basically the next best thing since sliced bread in the eyes of Ada Potato

This is how I'm greeted each and every time I go in Ada's room after she has been sleeping, can you say adorable!!! Melts my heart!
