Pulling self to stand
As you can see from the photos-Miss Ali can pull herself to stand on basically anything as long as it is sturdy. She is so proud of herself also. It is adorable. So amazing. I can't believe the development changes she is going through. She is eating baby food great--loves it. Will eat anything!!!!!
Sorry for the delay in posting, we had a pretty eventful but quiet week last week (does that make sense?) She got croup on Monday and was pretty sick. We did manage to stay away from the ER but went to the Dr. on Tuesday. She took steroids for 3 days and is much, much better. So, we didn't do anything last week. Stayed home and did short excursions to the library, park, and grocery.

Using my very own spoon
Hello there. We just wanted to show off Alison's new big girl spoon. She loves it. Now, she doesn't always use the correct end and sometimes just dropping it and watching me pick it up is twice as fun, but we are practicing with it. This was her first attempt at using it. We are eating macaroni and cheese, yum!

On a side note, if you notice my rosy cheeks...we went to Muncie on Sat. for the Ball State game and I got a little bit of sun. We had a wonderful time and yes, we had a victory!!!! Go Cardinals. (Probably because the cutest little cheerleader EVER was there) :)

An Ali update
Hello everybody. We have had some Dr's visits this week and wanted to give some updates. First we had to see a pediatric opthamologist because her left tear duct isn't opening. She frequently tears and has drainage. She will unfortunately have to go to the OR late Nov or early Dec to have it opened. Very quick procedure. Please pray for an uneventful surgery.
Then we headed to the Dr. for a 9month well baby check today and yes, we are well. Ali weighs 15# 1 oz. and has grown 2 inches. She got a hemoglobin check which was normal and had her 1st of two flu shots. She did great. She is meeting her milestones and can start on some very soft table foods if she shows interest. How exciting.
It is amazing how 9 months has gone so fast. I put away a lot of our receiving blankets today because we no longer use them and we could use the drawer space for clothes. It made me sooo sad to think, she isn't hardly a baby anymore. I could have never imagined that it would be this wonderful and I could love something so much. My heart is completely hers.

An overnighter in Brown County State Park
We hope that everybody else enjoyed the gorgeous weather this past weekend. We headed to Brown County State Park on Saturday morning. We went on a hike, which Alison did great on. She got to see a chipmunk and touch a turtle shell. We went into Nashville and did some sight-seeing and ate dinner. We stayed in a cabin. Not the best night of sleep the Bishop's have ever had, but we still really enjoyed it. Alison didn't think sleeping in the pack-n-play was all that great. She ended up in bed with Mom and Dad, which means somebody was comfortably sprawled out in the middle of the DOUBLE bed while two others were hanging on for dear life on the edges :)

We got up Sunday and ate a good down home cookin' breakfast and then headed to Edinburgh to do some shopping. Miss Alison got some great fall/winter clothes. We then came home and we got to clean out our garage because our new Tuff Shed was built on Saturday while we were gone. It is sooo nice. Lots of great storage.
Well, here are some pictures from us swinging in the park on Saturday. Enjoy!
