Oh, how pretty
So Ali and I have discovered how fun it is to "put on" Mommy's makeup while Mommy actually puts on her makeup. She loves to carry around the brushes and hold onto the mirror. She sits in my lap and just babbles away. It is soo sweet. Well, today I was letting her play and I was busy doing my hair and getting dressed and then looked at her and she had the eyeshadow open. She had a big brown dot on her nose and multiple little streaks throughout the rest of her face. I couldn't get the best picture, but here are some. I guess I have to start being alittle more selective on what I give her to "put on". HA!

Go Horsey Go
Since we have had all this cold weather we have been amusing ourselves inside. As you can see, one of Ali's new favorite activities is playing horsey on our backs. Actually, if you lay flat on your stomach on the floor, she comes right over and crawls on. She is super sweet with Chris and just lays her head down and relaxes while he totters around. She even knows that she has to "dismount" by going feet first.....so fun and cute!

Sorry for the long delay!!
Hello all. Sorry that we haven't updated lately. I can't say we haven't been doing anything but I guess downtime at the computer has just been obsolete lately....as you can imagine :)
Ali is doing great. She is basically a walker but still would prefer to crawl if she needs to get somewhere fast. We are working on 2 new teeth on the top. That would make 6 all together. She is loving her bottles of Vit. D milk and Soy. We have to mix 1/2 and 1/2...I think she likes the sweetness of Soy...imagine that :) She still loves to eat and we are to almost all table food. Just and FYI....flung spaghetti by a 1 year old can go pretty far...HA!
She is enjoying all her Christmas and Birthday toys. Here is a photo of her in her wagon with multiple other toys accompanying her......it was the funniest thing. We were doing our daily wagon ride around the house and every time we went by her toys she pointed to one so it joined us on our ride. By the end of our 20 min. ride, I think all but 3 toys from the downstairs were joining her.....so sweet!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to All!
We hope you had a festive evening. May '08 be a blessed year for all.
Well, we went out in '07 with a bang. Ali has been sick for the past 7 days. Thank heavens we made it through Christmas. She started with a fever/runny nose on Wed. the 26th and continued with a fever through Saturday. We ended up at an Immediate Care on Sat. afternoon. They diagnosed her with an ear infection. Then on Sunday we started in with a rash which we thought might be from the antibiotic. So on Monday I called and talked to the NP on and she said it sounds like a classic case of roseola. SO.....that usually subsides in 1-3 days. We are doing MUCH better. She is back to sleeping through the night and actually eating something worth mentioning. We are so happy. We had a sick little bug on our hands. NO FUN! I guess we feel sooo lucky that we made it through one year with only 2 illnesses....croup and this.
Since this has been our only activity for days.....sorry, no fun pics----hopefully we'll post some soon!

Merry Christmas
There is only one way to sum up this year's Christmas festivities......my cup runneth over......
Chris and I are so blessed to have such an awesome loving marriage, a beautiful sweet daughter, loving and generous families.....we can't even begin to list it all. We had a wonderful Christmas today. We had an intimate morning together as a family of 3 and then both sets of Grandparents came to enjoy lunch, games, and fellowship. Ali did wonderful considering all of the commotion. Santa came and visited last night, he even had room to enjoy some of our goodies. Here are some photos of the day......
