A Wabash weekend

We spent this past weekend in Wabash. I do have say that is after Chris and I got to go to Cirque de Solei with Travis and Lindsay on Thursday night. Thank you Sheryl for coming to watch Alison so we could enjoy an evening out and thank you soooo much to Lindsay and Travis for inviting us, we had a great time! It was an awesome show, if anybody was wondering!
So we packed up on Friday and went to Wabash. Ali and I went home earlier in the day with Sheryl so Alison got to see her cousins on Friday night. They had a lot of fun together. And we got the added bonus of GORGEOUS spring like weather, bring it on for good!!!Here we are playing dress up with all of my old dance costumes, Gabi is quite the DIVA in this one!
The 3 little darlings!
Saturday we had two birthday parties to attend. Our niece Izi turned 3! She was an adorable Birthday Princess! We love you!!! Her party was at McDonalds so there was LOTS of playtime! Our cousin Madison turned 13 also that day. Her parents hosted a surprise shower for her, can't believe she is a teen!
Izabielle Wagoner, age 3Here she comes!!!!!!!!
Cupid did visit us on Saturday also. Ali got a tutu and dress up ballet slippers. I didn't get a good photo of her and the tutu so I'll give you all an IOU. She was super excited though.

Weekend O'Fun

Boy oh Boy have we had a great weekend. Friday night we were planning on swimming at the Y but the pool had just gotten a new heater and it was too cold so we ate out and went and bought new closet organizers for Ali's closet, which are desperately needed. We definitely aren't maximizing our closet space.
Saturday we woke up and went to the Y for some physical activity and then we had friends over on Sat. afternoon/evening. The kids were hilarious and CRAZY! They ranged in age from 1 (next week) to 5 and 3/4. Our house looked like a toy bomb had exploded. So fun and nice to visit with friends. From this......
to this in about 0.1 second :)
From L-R we have Ali, Spencer, Colleen, Casey, and Carter

Today Chris and Ali got out in the snow for some fun. A snowman and a slide too....oh boy!!!! She had a great time. Everytime we get her out she is enjoying it more and more.

Let it Snow

Yeah, finally some snow to play in or something like that :) We traversed outside to shovel the driveway for Chris while he was working and so his car would make it up the drive when he got home. Alison didn't really like the cold blowing wind/snow in her face so she hung out in the garage most of the time.

All bundled up!
But my prefered place to be.....she REALLY wanted to go on a wagon ride...just didn't quite comprehend??!!!
But Mommy did a snow angel
I did get her to sit in it...okay, I plopped her down and she looks thrilled hunh?! She actually sat and made a few snowballs with me and then inside we went

Life around the Bishop house

Life has completely setted back into routine around our house. Feels good!
We were in need of some new pj's this weekend. I can't believe how fast she is growing. One eye on these and she HAD to have them. The princesses are becoming more and more popular everyday around here...especially Snow White and yes, she does know and can name all the Seven Dwarfs.
I think we had our first tempter tantrum today...such a proud Mom moment. We've had plenty of sassy moments but this was a kicking, screaming, sobbing mess. ALL over reading books on the potty....oh my!!!! What have I gotten myself into :)

Gymmastics class

So to help fight off Winter's cabin fever I have signed Ali and I up for a gymnastics together class at the Y. Today was our 1st class. She did great....followed directions and overall enjoyed running, jumping, and doing somersaults.
Here we are on the bench before starting:

And after class....doing her best TA-DA...she has the hang of that!!!
