Winter Park, CO

Chris and I were fortunate enough to sneak away this past weekend for a little getaway ski vacation. We skiied for 2 days in Winter Park, Co., and it was amazing! Much harder skiing than in Breckenridge from about 4 years ago. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you to everyone, mainly my parents, who helped out with Alison. I know she had a great time while we were gone. She even took a 2 1/2 hour nap yesterday and that was me forcing her to get up...she was exhausted!
Our beautiful surroundings
Whew, I made it :) We loved all the tree skiing!

The peak, 12,000+ feet!

Our resort and you can see some of the trails on the Left.

On our way to the resort we stopped at the Red Rocks...gorgeous area. They made an amphitheater out of the Red Rocks...can you tell the difference in the amount of snowfall...Denver had hardly any when we arrived and Winter Park got about 12 inches while we were there. Many of the locals said this was the best snow they have had all season, lucky us :)

The Bishop's LOVE the snow...we are having a great time in all this weather! We have a great church down the road that has several hills. As you can tell by the pics, we stay until nearly dark! Settin' up, ready to go!

Christmas at the Wagoner's

We headed home on Sat. (the 26th) morning for a fun-filled day at my parents. We munched on goodies all afternoon, played a riveting Scrabble game where Chris and I beat the Scrabble queen (aka my Mom), enjoyed gift giving, and ate a wonderful feast prepared by my brother. Basically anytime Alison can get together with her cousins and play all day, I think it is wonderful. I love to see them bond and form relationships. We had an awesome Christmas with you all.....I love ya !!!
The girls with my Grandma who is called Great Meme or Meme BB

The girls with my parents Meme and Papa

These two sweet ladies just steal my heart....they did so good being patient during presents!

The 4 munchins!
Here is our big gift from Meme and Papa......a Snow White dress, crown, and wand...isn't it just darling! I know her face looks like extreme pain but really....she loves it and we are sooo excited to wear it to WDW in just 3 months :)

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas Day at home. I received the best gift of all and didn't have to go to work that night. It took us 4 hours to open all our gifts....between stopping to eat breakfast, playing with everything we opened, and just generally taking our time, we had a wonderful time. Alison was super fun and excited by everything. We are soooo blessed!!!!! Chris' parents came to enjoy the afternoon and evening with us. We had a great time visiting and ate a wonderful meal that Chris' parents brought. Thank you!!!!
Opening our stocking

Trying out the new hip carrier that Chris got me..I love it!!!! Alison walks about 10% of the time and otherwise likes to be carried...by ME!!! I love it but my arms get tired :) So this hip carrier is made for kids up to 40 pounds...I think we'll be able to get LOTS of use out of it. Thanks honey :)

Trying out Santa's gift...her So Chic Hair Salon.....just think Gr. Fifi...you'll never have to pay for a hair do again, you now have Alison :)
