It's all in a hard days play
Hi all. So I'm pretty sure that Tuesday evening was the dirtiest my girl has ever been. As you can see from the pics below, we started the day super cute...with a nice springy side pony and all. BUT we ended the day with a matted nest in the back of our head and our pony stuck to the side of our head. Between playing at Miss Laura's on her playset, including a fun sand box and then heading to the park later with Mom....we were filthy. I guess I need to get used to daily baths :)

Seriously cute
Our first set of pigtails!!!! They aren't the prettiest set (Mommy needs some practice) but we thought they were just adorable. She leaves these alone much better than hair barrettes and we had to do something with her bangs. They are sooo long and always in her eyes. I think it makes her look soooo grown up. Thanks to my friend Milissa for the hair twisties :)

Who loves the park??
Miss Alison Bishop does........
So, the girl absolutely loves to be outside and totally enjoys the park! We went to two different ones this week and she can spend hours there. We come home exhausted and filthy! There is nothing to big, to high, or to daunting for her....good exercise for Mommy too!

Just slightly overwhelmed!
Hi pretty girl!
Is this how you do it Momma???
I can totally climb this wall!
After all this playing we have decided to buy Ali her first official swing set for the yard. We had thought about going with one of the small ones that she could only use for the next 2 years or so but she loves to climb, crawl, slide, and swing. So, she can just grow into what we buy!

Havin' fun on a rainy April day
Since we were stuck inside today we decided to pass the day with a little task and showing off new tricks. Momma of course, had to bust out the camera and catch it all with a few pics. Ali is changing all the time, just amazing to Chris and I. She is working on her 10th tooth, and yes I can attest to that twice this week....she still is occasionally biting :) She is attempting new words to say everyday. Loves the outside....has an absolute fit when it is time to come in. Loves to give kisses and wrestle like a champion :) Enjoy the photos....
Hanging a room darkening shade in my room. We really needed this now that it is staying lighter longer.
I'm such a big help to my daddy!

And these are all my new tricks....touching the ceiling with Daddy. I actually ask Mommy many times a day to touch the ceiling, but Mommy is to short, we have to wait on Daddy to come home. And this is my "sad baby face". Daddy helped me perfect it. Too cute!!

And here I am giving Mommy kisses while playing peek-a-boo in my activity dome. I love to give kisses. I also am really getting good at standing on my head. The world looks so cool from here.

Spring Break Week
So I know that we don't have a true spring break yet in our house but we did have some special visitors and do some extra fun things this week.....so in honor of our local and visiting spring-breakers we decided to join in the fun.
Our week started on Monday with my parents, Danielle, and Gabrielle coming down and we went to a local park. All the girls loved playing. Ali didn't even mind the grass for the first time in her life. Then on Tuesday we headed to the Children's Museum with the hundreds of other spring breakers-ha! The girls had a blast. They loved the slide that had been made in honor of spring break.
Then on Thursday we went and had a playdate with our friend Cara. I work with Cara's Mommy and the girls are about 6 months apart. They did really well together considering. It was fun to check out new toys. We hope to get the girls together more often.
Whew, what a action-packed, fun-filled week. Thanks to everybody who contributed :)
Oh yes, did I mention we had a mean game of Twister going on on Monday night..it was awesome.....
