End of October

We opted to paint our pumpkins this year, Chris had just come off a two week illness stent, Alison was coming off a very busy 2 week Fall Break, and Mommy--well, she was luckily to have survived it all! HA!!!

Trick or Treating got moved to Friday night due to terrible wind/rain on Halloween night. I'm very thankful b/c Friday was a great evening to be outside and the kids could really enjoy the evening.

Ada was our 'little red devil' this year

Alison wanted to be an astronaut so we got all DIY and made her jet-pack out of 2 liter bottles and we paper-mached her helmet...turned out pretty adorable in my opinion

We trick or treated with the cutest Doc McStuffins and Captain Jack Sparrow I've ever seen!!!

Ready for take-off

Mid-October

Alison enjoyed two full weeks off for Fall Break this year due to our new balanced calendar and we LOVED it!!! We enjoyed time as a family, enjoyed time with friends, and she got to go have one on one time with each set of grandparents....heaven's knows she wasn't spoiled there AT ALL...HA!!!
We visited Tuttle's Orchards with friends...I had never been to an apple orchard that I could remember, so fun!!! and great picture opportunities. This one also has a relatively small pumpkin patch but perfect for us.

Such a little poser

Love her!!!

and the toothless wonder still eats an apple!

Me and my girls!

I think she was a little tired when we were done....ha!!!!

Ada found a new toy under her crib....electrical cords are fine for babies, right?! Little stinker!! and she goes for them each and every time she's on the floor in her room...rotten!

She's got the army crawl down-pat! and empty water bottles...basically the next best thing since sliced bread in the eyes of Ada Potato

This is how I'm greeted each and every time I go in Ada's room after she has been sleeping, can you say adorable!!! Melts my heart!

The first of October

October is always one of the busiest months of the year for us...but we love it!!!! I can tell by all the pics that I have that we were B-U-S-Y!
And the first of our two front teeth is out...I pulled this tooth at Chick-fil-a in the bathroom...yes, a story all of its own!

Sitting up big

and the second one is out 3 days later

Cutest gappy smile kid I know

I can't stand the cuteness

It's time to celebrate BSU's homecoming!!! Go Cards! Chirp-Chirp!!! I made Ada's onesie..

Sweet sisters
Alison wanted to make her own homecoming shirt this year so I obliged...it ended up being adorable and she got some autographs of players and cheerleaders after the game, she was in 7th heaven
Passing some tailgate time with some catch

and high-flyin'

and a friendly little game of touch-football

and rollin' on out....

Alison's school host Hawk-a-Walk-a-Thon as their annual fundraiser every year...the kids get "pledges"/"donations" and then spend 45 minutes in aerobic activity...they make it fun with games/activities and even the Principal dressed up to do the chicken dance.

If you look just right at the right side of her head you'll see her very FIRST pig-tail

As many of you know, Chris changed jobs in August and now works for Marian University...they hosted a cheer clinic that Alison attended...she had a good time but was pretty pooped out by the time game time came.

Her end of the half lift!!! Go Alison!

So Ali really wanted to join Girl Scouts this year....so we did....her first outing was at a roller skate rink...if you ever need a good laugh, go ahead and put 6 year old girls on roller skates and see what happens...I'm just thankful that nobody broke a bone!!!

Our annual Chase Charlie run at BSU....Alison is in the gray t-shirt and her cousin Gabi is in the front with the blue shoes...they had fun!

Rollin' on in to September

We begin every September taking time to remember and celebrate our sweet angel in Heaven. We enjoy special family time at West Park and always send her birthday balloons...Annie, my love, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you....you are forever with me in my heart....I look forward to the day I can hold you in my arms forever!

My grandma knit Ada this dress....I wanted to make sure and capture her sweetness in it. Having my grandma still here and Alison and Ada knowing who she is is SO very special to me.

Alison participated in the kids fun run at the Mighty Mississinewa Tri....in her age group she was 4th overall and 1st girl!!! So proud of her!

Cheering on Daddy at the finish

This little muffin turned 7 months old and had a horrible cold to celebrate...I can just see the congestion in her eyes, poor baby!!!
