Wrapping it up....

Okay, I know it has taken me WAY to long to get the Disney vacation posted so today, I'm wrapping it up :)
We went to Epcot. Had a pretty good time, a lot of the rides are big for Alison but she did get to see some characters, had her face painted (again), and we ate the best Mexican food for lunch. That evening Meme and Papa watched Alison so Chris and I could have a date night. We really enjoyed that :) When we got back to the hotel, Alison was sitting on the hotel room floor and she looks at me and says, "I hit the jackpot"......Meme and Papa had taken her shopping. Made us laugh so hard!!!
But the word jackpot was definitely the right word to sum up the vacation! It was great!!!! I realized I didn't take many pics at Epcot but here's the Bug with her face painted and meeting Snow White (again)!

and now back to our regularly scheduled lives :)

WDW Day 5

We started out the day saying good bye to the Moren Family. They were headed out to the beach. We had a wonderful time visiting with you all. We love you and can't wait until our next visit together :) Hugs!!!!!
Then it was back to the Magic Kingdom to conquer the rest of the park. So...my Dad does NOT like anything that spins/turns alot but when his little 3 year old granddaughter asks him to ride the teacups...how can he say no?! So off we ventured...

Kudos to Papa Tom, he made it through the ride without an sickness :) Ali thanks you Papa!!!

Then we were off to Goofy's Barnstormer rollercoaster. It was the only rollercoaster that Alison would be able to ride and it was a hit!!!! Luckily the line was short and we rode it 3 times in a row followed by 2 more times later in the day.

Not the most flattering picture of Mama but boy were we having fun!
We then headed to the Princess Tent to meet the Princesses, again! I'll spare you lots more pictures but this one was to cute to pass up....
When Ali gets a little embarrassed or shy she tends to rub her nose or kiss me....well since I wasn't in the near vicinity, it was nose rubbing time. I couldn't quit laughing...she about rubbed that thing off :)
Well I know this is Chris' favorite photo of the trip. He couldn't wait to take Alison on these race cars!
Off to the Haunted Mansion which I'm sure she kept her eyes closed for most of :) But I think the only picture I got with both sets of grandparents! We love you :)

and then by chance....okay, it was the arguing couple that I overheard {he he he}, we found Princess Tianna and Prince Naveen. She wasn't to keen on Naveen but snuggled right up with Tianna and has since told me the next time she meets her, she's going to ask her if she liked being a frog :)
Our day ended with the fireworks that night. My camera doesn't do well in the dark so I don't have any good pictures. The fireworks were awesome! Memories made :)

WDW Day 4

We woke up on Day 4 for a very special breakfast with the Princesses! The girls were all excited. They all wore their dresses that were made by Grandma Fifi. A special kiss for the seamstress! Poppy had her dress too but she was MIA!

A visit with Jasmine

Princess Aurora too, I don't know if Alison could 'cheese' any bigger :)

Cinderella made an appearance which made Poppy VERY happy!!!

Belle greeted us at the door. The professional picture they took for us of this picture is soooo cute. Alison's facial expression makes it look like she can't even believe this is happening :)
Then we were off to Hollywood Studios for the day. The least favorite of Alison and Mommy's parks but we still had a great time.

We took a quick little animation class and as you can see Chris, my Mom, and my Dad learned how to draw Dopey. Alison and I enjoyed the air conditioning and some scribble time :)

These are our very stylin' 3-D glasses for the Toy Story Mania ride. The longest wait we had our entire visit but sooooo worth it! Very very fun!!!

and to close the show......what London thought of the breakfast with the princesses!!!! even though I know he LOVED the cinnamon rolls for breakfast :)

WDW Day 3

We were up and to the Magic Kingdom. What an amazing day we had. Alison enjoyed all the rides and we met every character that we could. I know it is very cliche to say but the Magic Kingdom definitely has something "magical" about it. We stayed all day and ended the night with the SpetroMagic parade. Very pretty!
Here we are starting our day. Yes, Alison was being a complete pill and closing her eyes ;)
My little princess with a shot of the castle! I thought the flowers turned out beautiful!! The best family photo we can get with 4 kids under 7, a balloon the size of our heads, and a sword :) This is the first time that we have ALL been together. Pretty special for Gr. Bobby and Gr. Fifi.

Meme and Papa with Alison while we were waiting for the SpectroMagic parade.

A little Mama/Ali lovin'! Watching her enjoyment through the day was so fulfilling!

WDW Day 2 Part 2

Yay! my Alaskan cousins have arrived...so excited to see them. This is Poppy and her and Alison are just 6 weeks apart.Ali couldn't resist the face painting, I was shocked. She is a Rainbow princess. She loved it!!!! We then all headed to Chef Mickey for dinner. It is a really loud, boisterous place but really fun! The atmosphere is great, especially for the kids....even Papa Tom was having fun :)

One of the few pics we have of all the kids...as you can tell London and Poppy couldn't resist the face painting either. L-R London, age 5, Indigo, age 7, Minnie Mouse, Poppy, age 3, and Alison, age 3.
